When I submitted my inquiry on the Service Magic web site, they called me within just minutes and they were out the next day to see the project, we needed the house and barn reroofed and painted as a result of the big hail damage July 2009. Certainly this was not a huge project; however, it is work and needed to be done. Also, our home is in a rural area south of Denver most of the other contractors didn’t feel that it was worth their time to come out here and do these repairs. Scott Barnes, the foreman, and Chris and Lisa Pizzo, the owners, stayed in constant contact with me, via email, phone calls and personal visits. They worked tirelessly with the insurance company, emailing them additional photos and meeting a second adjuster out here, ultimately convincing them to increase their original offer. Scott was then here with his roofing crew to get them going and confirm that all materials were delivered properly and timely. We have animals, horses, goats, and dogs, and he made sure that there was nothing left around the house and pasture that could harm our animals. Then the painters were the nicest most professional team you could ever want. They got it all done, despite the ugly Colorado spring weather. The house looks GREAT again. "We met Chris Pizzo thru a flyer that he had left on our door after the July hail storm. We were a little leery about calling his number,303-995-2068, because his flyer was one of many that we had received and we really didn't know anything about him. We called several of the companies and were not impressed; but after talking to Chris on the phone we had him come over for a no cost estimate on the painting of our house, shed & fence.We found that he only lived a few blocks from us and that he believed in what his company name represents, Prep-rite. We found that he wanted no money up front unlike the other companies and that he was all about service and customer satisfaction. We ok'd his estimate, met with his job foreman, Scott, who is also great person to work with and within a couple of days they had a crew out power washing the house, shed and fence. Then came the prep for the job and boy was it done in a truly professional manner. One day later the crew came back, taped off and put plastic over everything and started painting. Two days later the crew came back finished up everything and we had a walk around the property with not only the painters but with Chris as well. Each day the crew picked up any trash and left on the last day as if they had not been there. Chris and Scott showed us that they really cared about our satisfaction and or any concerns. We would recommend this company to anyone who wants a great job done in a timely and professional manner."
